New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his Administration, and the New Jersey Department of Education Commissioner helped celebrated drum virtuoso/clinician Pat Gesualdo launch D.A.D. in various New York City and New Jersey school systems and community centers in 2004.
Psychologists, Neuroscientists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Behavioral Therapists, and Special Education Teachers use Pat Gesualdo’s D.A.D. Program and his pioneering Healing Art of Drum Therapy techniques, to help special needs children, adults, and wounded veterans develop Retention, Coordination, Social Skills, Self Esteem, Sensory Integration, Fine Motor Skills, Behavioral Modification and Physical and Cognitive Functioning, in schools, health facilities and community centers in over 15 countries.
Gesualdo wrote the first law in the United States requiring the Department of Justice to expand disability rights to special needs populations who are bullied or physically or mentally abused. The U.S. Department of State partnered with Gesualdo and the D.A.D. Program to help disabled Israeli and Palestinian children in the Middle East. Numerous State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, and State Child Protective Agencies also partner with Gesualdo and his D.A.D. Program to help serve special needs children and their families. Gesualdo was invited to the White House to meet the President in an effort to help expand the D.A.D. Program to wounded troops in VA hospitals throughout the United States.

Some inlcude Senator Bucco, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his Administration, TD Bank, Morgan Stanley, United States Department of State, Xerox, the WWE, Morris County Park Police, YMCA, United States Department of Defense, the NY Giants, Pepsi-Cola, Pro-Mark Drumsticks, Hasbro Toys, Zildjian Cymbals, JCC’S, The New Jersey Education Association, Live Nation, Modern Drummer Magazine, and Sony Music among others The WWE and the NY Giants have taken part in D.A.D. events, and joined D.A.D. Founder Pat Gesualdo at the Meadow lands IZOD Arena, at a live televised WWE event, to announce the D.A.D. Program. Sony Music also sponsored D.A.D. on the Warped Tour, for all 40 dates.
